Veteran sales director of networking integrator 3D Networks, Chris Seaman, has left the company.
Seaman, who worked for the company for over 18 years, said his decision was based on personal reasons. He was most recently sales director, but has also held business development and state-based sales roles.
“It’s a sign of the times being there as long I had,” he said. “I’ve been through a number of owners, but made the decision that if I didn’t make a change now, I never would.
“I’m using some long service leave and thinking about options before I make another decision.”
Seaman’s main responsibilities at 3D have been assumed by CEO, Nick Avakian, who took over from former boss, Chris Luxford, in September. The integrator recently flattened its management structure and installed a regional sales director and operations chief.
Seaman flagged plans to get back into the IT industry in the next few months and stressed his preference for the integration space.
He said there were several opportunities already in the pipeline.
