Communications integrator, NSC Group, has promoted Michael Bloomfield to the role of NSW sales manager, replacing Rod Lester, who had been with the company for two years.
Bloomfield’s first focus is on driving growth for the entire NSC portfolio across its enterprise customers in NSW.
“He’ll be continuing the good work that’s been done,” NSC general manager, Trevor Boal, said.
Bloomfield joined NSC in 2007 as an account executive managing customers such as HCF and will now report directly to Boal.
The integrator has introduced a range of vendors and capabilities to its portfolio including Sun Microsystems, Polycom and Juniper. In NSW, NSC has up to 200 enterprise customers.
Boal said its managed services business had continued to grow through a number of key projects and deals it signed in the lead up to Christmas. As a result it was looking to hire more services staff in 2009. Despite all the doom and gloom around this was good sign.
