Virtualisation vendor, NComputing, has formed its second distribution partnership in Australia with Leader Computers.
NComputing country manager, John Robinson, said the SA-based distributor is a complementary partner for NComputing’s other distributor, Ingram Micro.
“My challenge is to create more awareness for our products,” Robinson said. “As a whitebox manufacturer with whitebox resellers, Leader addresses a different market to Ingram Micro and there will be little, if any, crossover.
“I conferred with Ingram Micro during the entire process of appointing Leader.”
Leader Computers director, Theo Kristoris, said the appeal of NComputing was the bundling opportunities it offers.
“We see the opportunity to bundle Leader desktops as a host PC with NComputing solutions to help our resellers reduce both cost and energy consumption for small business,” Kristoris said.
Leader is not looking for any other vendor partners in the space for the time being, he added.
Robinson added that while it wasn’t currently looking for any further distribution partners, it was open to the possibility of appointing more in the future.
NComputing will work with Leader’s sales force to demonstrate the value of the vendor’s solutions.
“The goal is to raise awareness around the money that can be made from peripherals, especially considering how little there is in PCs now,” he added.
