DiData strikes Gold twice with Genesys

Integrator is the first Genesys partner in the Asia-Pacific region to obtain Gold status.

Dimension Data has become the first partner in the Asia-Pacific region to achieve Gold status with Genesys.

The Gold status covers two certification categories including Gold Genesys Voice Portal (GVP) Certified Partner and Gold Suite Certified Partner. Dimension Data general manager for customer interactive solutions, Robert Allman, said it was a great acknowledgement of the investment it had put into Genesys.

“Although there’s about 20 Genesys integrators in Australia, this really reflects the experience and capability we have,” he said. “It’s a clear indication for customers on who has achieved a certain level of capability and experience above and beyond other organisations in the market.”

To gain Gold, Dimension Data had to demonstrate a proven history of successful customer implementations, highlight a record of achieving high customer satisfaction based on customer surveys, and operate a full laboratory infrastructure for all certified and support Genesys products. The integrator also had to provide extensive employee training for all certified and supported Genesys products and adhere to professional services methodologies and best practice along with offering technical support.

“A number of our customers were keen to stand testament for the work we’ve done and acknowledged the value we’ve added,” Allman said. “One of the key things to getting Gold is that you needed a wide variety of engineers, who have been trained, demonstrated a certain number of installations and have a number of certifications.”

As a Gold partner, Dimension Data receives marketing benefits, technical tools and enablement services. Allman added the integrator also obtains early access to product releases, trials and training on new specific products.

“It shows there’s an investment in skills, we’ve got the right people, we’re following the right processes and are delivering these to the customer. They’re acknowledging that with the value they’ve received,” he said.
