Fuji Xerox Printers has a new partner program called Channel 1st

Fuji Xerox Printers has announced a new partner program called Channel 1st with deal registration, reseller rebates, sales and technical training and increased marketing funds.

Marketing manager, Tom Lewis, said key changes from the old program include reducing the entry point for partners and expanding it from two to three tiers: Authorised, Gold and Platinum. New annual sales targets are $10,000 for Authorised, $50,000 for Gold, and $250,000 for Platinum.

“It’s more accessible. The focus of the program is to reward value,” he said. “For a certain level of commitment, you’ll get a reward over someone who is just dabbling in the product. When you get the Gold and Platinum layers, we look at rewarding not just turn over but also investment in skills.

“There are more things the reseller can sell to contribute towards their targets like PagePack.”

The program also offers partners access to a Web portal, demo discounts and the ability to view how they’re sales and rebate targets are progressing.

To become a Gold or Platinum partner, resellers must conduct a joint business plan with Fuji and have a certain number of trained sales and technical staff.

The vendor had 120 partners signed up to its former program, Accelerate, but wants to increase this figure.

"We probably weren’t accessing as many partners as what we could," Lewis said. “Our objective is to skill up the partners that we’ve got and expand that to 200 plus in the program."
