Canada-based email security software vendor, Vircom, is on the hunt for Australian resellers.
Channel manager, Daniel Fleischer, said demand for its products in the Australian market was growing.
“We don’t have a big international presence,” he said. “The lion's share of our sales is in the US and it was by chance that we got into the Australian market.”
The vendor has already established a relationship with Adelaide-based provider, SecureWare.
“Our relationship has been in place for about six months and we’ve had good success with them on the software side of things,” he said. “We see demand for the product, but absolutely no reason why we shouldn’t try and get in touch with the reseller community.”
Vircom also provides hardware appliances and professional services around its product portfolio.
“We already provide managed services and include everything from installation and training. We’re able to work with a multitude of partners,” he said. “Our professional services can be resold but also bundled into the service contract that the partner has with their customer.”
Fleischer said the company would like to attract an array of partners from box pushers through to system integrators that have a security focus.
“We have less than 100 partners globally, which is small, but we work very closely with them,” he said.
