NetGear’s ProSafe Wireless-N VPN Firewall offers secure connection to the Internet, support for a high-speed wireless LAN and the ability for remote workers and offices to securely access the company network. The appliance combines dual-band Wireless-N connectivity with two choices of VPN access – SSL and IPsec. The SSL VPNs support industry-strength encryption algorithms and automatic cache clean-up after session termination. IPsec VPN delivers secure site-to-site tunnels connecting multiple offices together, as well as legacy, client-based remote access. The new ProSafe Wireless-N VPN Firewall also provides denial-of-service attack protection, stateful packet inspection (SPI) to curb hacker threats, URL keyword filtering, syslog support and email reporting. The SRXN3205 supports up to five SSL VPN tunnels and five IPsec VPN tunnels simultaneously. Other features include an Auto Detect function to connect to a user’s ISP, and the Web-based Pro-Safe Control Centre.
