My favourite book or movie… was An Inconvenient Truth – it was my personal tipping point. Once I saw this movie I understood the call for action and how we can all make a difference. I also have the coffee table book as a point of discussion when guests come around.

If I could go anywhere… for a holiday I would go to the Amazon, which represents over half the planet’s remaining rainforests and spans nine different nations. I think this would be amazing and would love to experience this before the rainforests suffer irreversible damage.

If I wasn’t doing this job… I cannot imagine doing anything else than what I do today. But, if I wasn’t doing my current job then I would be in politics driving our national response to climate change. If that failed I would most definitely be a rock star and sing with my eyes closed all the time (unfortunately I can’t sing).

The person I most admire… is Bono, for his relentlessness in the pursuit of making poverty history, his social conscious and his ability to keep his music relevant through the decades.

I really hate… people who think climate change isn’t real: They are still out there.
