HDS loses locks for cancer charity

Tabloid is beginning to wonder whether anyone out there in the industry has any hair left on their heads after storage king Hitachi Data Systems took to the clippers to raise money for the LALTHAM fund.

The LALTHAM fund was established by the Institute of Hematology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and helps people suffering from leukemia, anaemia, lymphoma, thalassemia, haemophilia and myeloma.

With one of their staff currently diagnosed with myeloma, HDS staff banded together at their onsite café to take a chop for charity, raising $8500. HDS matched the staff contribution, bringing the total to $17,000.
