<p>HdS Becomes First New Zealand Member of the Association</p>
<p>Sydney, Australia – February 6, 2004 – The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) ANZ today announced storage system maker, Hosting &amp; Datacentre Services (HdS) as the first New Zealand company to join the association.</p>
<p>HdS joins the six current Non-Voting members: Adaptec, Cisco, Infinity I/0, Iomega, Markom Marketing, Microsoft and Voting members: Acer, Brocade, Computer Associates, EMC, Hitachi Data Systems, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Imation, Network Appliance, Quantum SSG, Sun Microsystems and VERITAS Software.</p>
<p>Russell Peat, Manager of Customer Storage Solutions at HdS NZ, said: “SNIA is the only industry recognised authority on storage networking. As the first New Zealand company to join the association, we are extremely keen to participate in the development of storage networking industry standards and share best practice training and experience.”</p>
<p>Commenting as Chairman of the SNIA ANZ, Mark Heers said: "We’re delighted to welcome HdS to the SNIA ANZ as the first New Zealand member and view their joining as the catalyst for growth of the association in the region.
