NETGEAR's MP101 liberates digital music

<p>Sydney, Australia (March 17, 2004) -- NETGEAR (Nasdaq: NTGR), a leading provider of easy to use, high-performance networking products, has launched its Wireless Digital Music Player that allows digital music files stored on PCs to be played through home stereo systems.</p>
<p>NETGEAR's MP101 Wireless Digital Music Player wirelessly connects the home stereo system to the home computer network, allowing users to play any MP3s or digital music files stored on their PCs through their home stereo, no matter where in the house it is located. Enabling users to benefit from the superior sound quality afforded by stereo speakers, the MP101 also features:</p>
<p>- Easy-to-install software on one PC that automatically finds all the music files on any networked PC and collects them into one complete database, based on users existing tags for artists, genre, album, track and playlist
- Streams Internet radio, allowing access to thousands of stations from around the world, even when PCs are turned off.
- Remote control and vivid LCD interface for easy browsing of music collection
- Compatible with 802.11b or 802.11g wireless networks</p>
<p>The MP101 is expected to arrive in Australia by the end of March, when it will be available through value added resellers for the RRP of $A379 (inc. GST). This product comes with NETGEAR's standard three-year warranty, with increased technical support also available with NETGEAR's advanced warranty.</p>
