m2m subsidiary completes first Asian Sipme sale

The deal, worth over $32,500, is just the first step in the company's planned foray into the Asian market.

m2m Corporation Limited (ASX:MCL) subsidiary Starband Communications has completed the first sale of m2m's Sipme Internet-related services to an Asian distributor.

The parent company has formulated a two-pronged strategy for its expansion into Asia, beginning with establishing a wholesale sales network, and then building a retail network on top of that backbone.

m2m is expecting to have generated more than $75,000 from sales of Internet-related services in October alone, more than half of which will have come from the distributor deal.

But in the future m2m hopes to concentrate on retail, due to the higher potential profit margins.
