Data-inCrypt installs SMX pilot at MCG

The pilot program, if successful, could result in hundreds of indirect sales of SMX licenses.

Synergy Equities Group [ASX: SYG] subsidiary Data-inCrypt has installed a number of pilot implementations of its SMX secure registered email system at the Melbourne Cricket Ground [MCG].

If successful, Data-inCrypt is expecting the pilot to result in the indirect sales of 500 SMX hosted service licenses at $400 apiece, on top of the contract to install a system at the grounds.

The MCG has completed a considerable expansion, and now boasts a total capacity of 100,000.

According to representatives of Data-InCrypt, public buildings such as the MCG, designed as they are to let in the largest number of people possible with the fewest security controls, should be considered possible terrorist targets.
