<p>Adrian Hocking Promoted to Lead Business Development Role for Region</p>
<p>SYDNEY - 19 January 2004 - MRO Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: MROI), the leading provider of strategic asset management solutions, has promoted Adrian Hocking to Sales Manager, Australia and New Zealand, responsible for all sales and business development in the region.</p>
<p>“Adrian has proved invaluable at listening to customers’ needs and providing solutions that deliver on customers’ specific requirements,” said Lars Faeste, MRO Software Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific. “In his new role, Adrian will be responsible for reviewing the current business landscape and determining opportunities that will increase the Australian and New Zealand customer base and maximise the performance of their critical assets.”</p>
<p>Based in MRO Software’s Melbourne office, Hocking is responsible for a co-ordinated sales effort across all of Australia and New Zealand. He is also charged with rolling out new market initiatives and assimilating corporate programs in the region.</p>

<p>An 18-year veteran of the IT industry, Hocking previously held the position of Manager, Southern Region for MRO Software, during which he established a solid base of satisfied customers for the Company’s Victorian, South Australian, Tasmanian and Western Australian operations. Prior to that, Hocking held senior sales positions with SAP and Unisys, where he was responsible for various market sectors such as chemicals and pharmaceuticals.</p>
