WatchGuard SSL VPN

Aimed at organisations that need to provide secure remote connectivity for myriad mobile devices and platforms, the WatchGuard SSL 1000 and 500 utilise web browsers or thin clients, endpoint integrity checking, network interface control, as well as virtual desktops and session clean-up to deliver business applications to the user. Strong authentication allows administrators to use SMS and software-based two-factor authentication, as well as 14 additional methods of authentication including RSA, Vasco and VeriSign tokens. Single sign-on allows users to seamlessly access information without having to repeatedly re-authenticate, while Federated Identity gives users seamless access to multiple or disparate resources. At the same time, endpoint integrity examines every user device before it connects to the network. The vendor claims this reduces risk and provides for contiguous integrity and enforcement of security policies. The solution also features ActiveX and Java client support.
