Anthony Keyzer will leave Office National Group at the end of September
Office National Group’s Anthony Keyzer has been made redundant after serving nine years with the business supplies reseller chain as general manager strategy and supply.
He departs at the end of the month to pursue other interests. Keyzer said there had been a lot of structural changes over the last year.
“Since our new CEO [Andrew Boath] came on last year he’s been working with the board and they’ve planned a bunch of changes designed to streamline the organisation,” he said. “It’s a cleaner, stronger structure to support our cooperative membership base.”
Keyzer said there would be a replacement for him, but not in the same function. In the meantime, he plans to take a break before deciding on his next move.
Keyzer spent most of his time creating support mechanisms for Office National members including back-end programs for the group and catalogue programs as well as building supplier relationships.
He was previously director of merchandising at Viking Office Products for six years and was also national purchasing manager for Macquarie Stationery, which was later taken over by Corporate Express.
