Netgear has hired two new account managers to aid resellers with its ProSafe business product portfolio.
Warren Manners will expand the ProSafe business across NSW and ACT. He previously held channel and business management roles with One Tel, Mobile Innovations and engin. Liam Quinn will look after Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia ProSafe business. Quinn’s resume includes product manager at Toshiba, distribution channel manager for Kyocera and IT business development manager at Commander.
Netgear managing director, Ryan Parker, said the focus of these new appointments was to work with resellers to raise awareness around its Ready NAS and wireless switching products.
“There are a lot of sizeable national resellers based in Victoria and, in the past, I don’t think we’ve done a good job of supporting them. By putting Liam on the ground, he becomes the first point of contact to work with those resellers,” he said. “The strategy is two-fold: Warren and Liam will directly work with resellers as well as distributors to identify which resellers are good candidates for our business product program.”
The ProSafe Business Partner program offers technical training and access to an opportunity registration desk that offers reseller support. The vendor also provides network design support and installation assistance for resellers. Netgear distributors include Ingram Micro, Synnex, Dicker Data, NetWorld Systems, J Mills and BMS Technology.
