Network security vendor, WatchGuard, has appointed Jolene Goh as its first northern region territory sales manager.
Goh joined WatchGuard last year as the vendor’s A/NZ partner sales manager.
Regional director, Scott Robertson, said the vendor had experienced in excess of 55 per cent growth year-on-year. This led to the territory sales manager positions being created.
“A lot of this growth has been fuelled by the enterprise space and a massive increase in our peak and higher end core boxes,” he said. “Jolene has spent the last few months working in our partner channel. It gives us an excellent position to be able to prospect to users and map those requirements back into our channel.”
Goh will be responsible for supporting channel partners across NSW, Queensland, ACT and Northern Territory. Her first focus is on the NSW market and analysing what opportunities are present in the enterprise space.
“The business growing fairly quickly and there are a lot of enterprise opportunities in NSW,” Goh said.
Prior to joining WatchGuard, she worked as an internal account manager at Synnex and has held positions at Abacus Systems and Solutions, Infotech Associates and Platinum Technology.
