Interactive Intelligence Launches Local Certification Program

Interactive Intelligence has announced the launch of locally-based certification training for its Australian-based reseller channel and customers.

<p>Sydney, August 26, 2008 - Interactive Intelligence Inc. (Nasdaq: ININ), a global developer of unified IP business communications solutions, has announced the launch of locally-based certification training for its Australian-based reseller channel and customers.</p>
<p>Targeting contact centre reseller and customer IT engineers, the two week certification course replaces training for Australian-based organisations previously staged at the company’s regional headquarters in Kuala Lumpur and in regional training centres in the US.</p>
<p>Completion of the Interactive Intelligence training results in certification for individuals as Interaction Centre Certified Engineers across the company’s Unified Communications solutions. Course material includes in-depth tutorials on VoIP as well as on the company’s Customer Interaction Centre, a Multimedia IP Contact Centre platform which is offered on premise or as a managed service.</p>
<p>Brendan Maree, Country Manager, ANZ &amp; Pacific, said, “Locally-staged certification will enable Interactive Intelligence to foster stronger, more dynamic and mutually beneficial relationships with our channel partners. We already support the channel with dedicated, proactive account management, direct-touch sales assistance and access to engineering, support and marketing specialists.</p>
<p>“Local training will now enable us to further assist our partners to succeed and follows a recruiting drive earlier in the year for new channel partners committed to offering our contact centre automation, enterprise IP telephony, Unified Communications, self-service automation and SIP-supported VoIP solutions.”</p>
<p>Due to the strong interest shown in attendance at the upcoming initial September courses being staged in Sydney from 1-12 September, Interactive Intelligence will host additional locally-based certification classes in November.</p>
