Nuance rewards its resellers

<p><b>Sydney, Australia – 19 August 2008</b> – Nuance Communications (NASDAQ: NUAN), a leading provider of speech and imaging solutions, today announced its inaugural Imaging and Dictation Channel Awards Dinner to be held on September 5, 2008 at the Vibe Hotel, North Sydney. In addition to announcing the 2008 award winners, Nuance is also conducting training on its range of dictation and imaging solutions to precede the awards.</p>
<p>The Imaging and Dictation Channel Awards program is open to all Nuance resellers throughout Australia and New Zealand and is based on achievement of revenue targets. More than 70 resellers including City Software, Data 3 and Insight are expected to attend the afternoon training session which will be followed by the awards ceremony and dinner.</p>
<p>Distributors have given Nuance resellers a 2008 sales target for the January-August period. Resellers who have met or exceeded their target will be eligible for an award in their appropriate category.</p>

<p>· Technology Licensee of the Year</p>
