Data#3 tees up $37,000 for Olympians

Data#3 raised $37,000 for the Queensland Olympic Council at its recent golf day. More than 100 staff and customers showed off their golfing prowess at Brisbane's Indooroopilly Golf Club.

Media personality, Pat Welsh, Olympic gold medalist, Duncan Armstrong and four other athletes bound for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games - Christian Sprenger, Melanie Schlanger, Alana Boyd and Naazmi Johnston - also took part.

The funds raised from the event will go towards supporting Queensland's best and brightest athletes at the Beijing Games next month. The Queensland Olympic Council was established to maintain the ideals of the Olympic movement and educate, develop and encourage Queensland-based athletes.
