Acquisition of Commander team earns integrator a Gold certification

SAP services provider, Extend Networks, has extended its competencies into Microsoft following the acquisition of an ex-Commander team.

A gold certified SAP partner, the acquisition of the Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS) team, which occurred in April, has now also seen Extend gain Gold certification with Microsoft. Extend CEO, Max White, said the plan was to raise the team headcount, currently at 20, to 50 by the end of the year.

"We expect it to add $10 million worth of additional business to us, as we look to grow to a $50 million organisation with 200 people," he said.

White said the acquisition of the MOSS team was to help foster relationships across the industry.

"Our vision is to be a customer centric organisation. Being an end-to-end provider of Microsoft and SAP solutions will help us develop deep customer relationships - our development teams are working side-by-side on this," he said.

White said the company has previously found most success with groups dedicated to SAP value engineering, human capital management and business intelligence, and has a CRM group in development.
