Component distributor, Anyware Computer Accessories, has inked an exclusive distribution deal with Taiwanese peripherals vendor, Sunix.
The vendor produces a range of PCI cards, USB adapters, PC peripherals, KVM and HDMI switches.
Anyware national marketing manager, Steve Grant, said the distributor had been dealing with Sunix for a number of years.
"The exclusive arrangement is recognition of a longstanding relationship," he said. "It's an interesting area for us and it represents an opportunity to develop a niche into more corporate and industrial sectors."
Grant said Anyware was looking to expand its business into other areas of the market.
"We're finding there are a number of resellers looking to expand into other areas as well," he said. "We want to work alongside them and offer products that can help complement their existing range."
This is the second new vendor deal for Anyware in the past couple of weeks. It recently added accessories manufacturer, Pelican to its portfolio.
Sunix assistant manager IT sales division, Milly Peng, said Anyware had strong channel representation across the A/NZ market.
"We have cooperated with each other for many years and we decided to establish a closer business relationship," she said.
