TodayTech has added Taiwanese chassis vendor, Chenbro, to its product portfolio.
The distributor will start shipping Chenbro's range of PC, rack-mount and pedestal server chassis in late August.
TodayTech CEO, Jack Zhong, said the new deal was part of a planned move into higher-end products.
"Chenbro's cases are very different to what's available at the moment," he said. "It's a lot more focused on the corporate and high-end markets."
The Chenbro range would fit in well among the distributors portfolio of LCDs, MSI and Intel motherboards, CPUs and hard drives, Zhong said.
"We'll still sell Intel because they're quite high-end, but Chenbro provides more specialty," he said.
The new range will be targeted at solutions providers and resellers that cater for corporate organisations. According to Zhong, TodayTech has about 1500 resellers that purchase every month. He expects the new range to add 5-10 per cent on top of existing revenues.
"At this point in time it will be a slow start," he said. "Chenbro is looking to expand its branding in the Australian market place and it's a good opportunity for us to step up and take them into the reseller channel."
Last month, TodayTech added MSI to its vendor portfolio.
