MGM signs preliminary US distribution agreement

The company has forged a tentative alliance with Plasco which will see MGM products sold in a bundled package to US schools

MGM Wireless Limited [ASX: MWR] intends to partner with US-based student tracking specialists Plasco to distribute MGMs flagship products in the USA.

The two companies have signed a preliminary agreement, which if realised will see Placso distribute MGMs messageyou and School News Channel products.

These products have been designed to allow parents to monitor their childrens' school attendance, and be contacted via SMS when their children miss or are late for a class.

The messageyou solution will be bundled with Placso's PlascoTrac student tracking system, which is marketed at schools and is designed to streamline the management of attendance violations.

Placso will also market the Web-based School News Channel product.
