Niche distributor, Mittoni, has signed up to distribute its third chassis and power supply vendor, Apevia.
The enthusiast vendor joins Thermaltake and Lian Li in the distributor's chassis portfolio.
Mittoni CEO, Louis Mittoni, said the vendor filled a gap in the enthusiast market.
"Lian Li chassis target the very high end, and Thermaltake is a very popular brand. Apevia offer a mid-ranged product for enthusiasts, so it operates in a different market to our other vendors," he said.
"Apevia hasn't had a presence in Australia previously, but it's a huge company in the US with a strong following, and we've been asked by our resellers a number of times to bring them on board. We're expecting this to be a huge deal for us."
Mittoni will bring on additional vendors focused on gaming as the opportunities arise, although he said three vendors in the chassis and power supply space was enough.
The distributor has recently moved to a new location in Melbourne with five times the capacity of its previous warehouse. Mittoni said staff numbers has also doubled since January this year.
