Canberra-based software vendor, EMS Solutions, is looking to develop a channel for its SMB and enterprise solution.
Its Basix builder application can be used to create, configure and deliver applications across a spectrum of business solutions such as CRM, financials, HR, procurement, inventory, assets and contracting. EMS managing director, Allen Matthews, said the product had been in R&D for three years and was ready to take to market.
"It's hard to put into a product group - it's a tool devised for IT consultants and systems integrators, so resellers in those fields would be our first point of call," Matthews said. "We're still in the very early stages of marketing, so we're working out what's available in the market and where this product fits in.
"We're a Microsoft partner and a channel approach seemed to be the best approach to take as it opens better opportunities for promotion."
Matthews said the Basix solution could be used for tailored or packaged software development.
EMS Solutions is a privately held Australian company located in the ACT.
