After Hours: Kaseya country manager, Tim Dickinson

My favourite book or movie ...My favourite movie is Scarface - Al Pacino is one of the great actors of all time and in this movie he eloquently displays some of the key requirements for success in small business: Determination, confidence, drive, overcoming obstacles, negotiation and eliminating the competition. My favourite book is Guns, Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond. An in-depth biological analysis of human history - this book attempts to answer why Homo sapiens evolved more rapidly in some countries than others.

If I wasn't doing this job ...I would be a professional surfer or follow the tour - I love the ocean and the exotic locations they travel to every week.

If I could go anywhere ...I have been fortunate enough to travel to most places but would love to spend a few lazy months in Tuscany enjoying the culture, people, scenery and beautiful Italian food. And, of course, the rest of Europe is right there to enjoy and explore.

The person I most admire ...is Warren Buffett. He has the unique ability to rapidly analyse huge volumes of complex business information and predict future outcomes. I think anyone that loves their job and can peek into the future deserves admiration - he is the 'Oracle from Omaha'.

I really hate ...people who are fixed in their ways and do not take timeout to improve the quality of their lives through a bit of education. As they say, knowledge is power.
