Swedish Match adopts ComOps' SAM sales system

Company, which sells tobacco and lighter products, will use system to keep in touch with its distributors.

Swedish Match, the company which owns the Redhead and Cricket brands, will soon be using the Sales Account Management (SAM) package from vendors ComOps (ASX: COM).

The SAM system can be used on Tablet computers. It is designed for use by sales representatives in the field, and allows them to take orders, check pricing and range, and communicate with head office while standing in front of a customer.

Swedish Match also sells cigars, pipe tobacco and smoke-free tobacco products.
