Quadtel bags $2m FlowCom deal

Broadband technology distributor Quadtel has secured a contract to supply communication equipment to publicly listed telecommunications outfit Flow Communication.

The contract, valued at between $1.5 million and $2 million over 12 months, validates Quadtel's investment in the ISP/telecommunications sector over the past two years, according to Rodney Orrock, Quadtel's CEO, in a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange.

Quadtel will supply FlowCom with products from a range of manufacturers, the statement said.

FlowCom supplies broadband ADSL data services to end users and ISPs along the East Coast.
