Business intelligence software vendor Hyperion has appointed Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as an implementation partner of its software. The companies have been working together for some time in Australia and New Zealand but the appointment was formalised last week.
The two companies have a similar strategy worldwide and are already engaged in domestic deals at Downer Engineering and a large telecommunications provider.
Deloittes develops customised business intelligence applications on the Hyperion platform.
Hyperion works with 400 strategic partners worldwide which provide 60 per cent of the company's revenues. The vendor subsequently sees partners as the key to its success in Australia and New Zealand.
Existing local partners include KPMG and Decision Support Systems (DSS).
