Teradata Responds To Market Demand Appointing Retail Specialist

<p>SYDNEY, Australia – Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation, has appointed Geoff Dyer as its retail specialist. This appointment is in response to demand from retailers that seek to differentiate themselves using business intelligence.</p>
<p>With over 25 years experience in the retail industry, Mr Dyer will support retail initiatives within Teradata’s professional services team focusing on industry specialisation and best practice. Based in Melbourne, he will also assist with pre-sales activity and provide on-site client consulting and implementation to retail customers nationally.</p>
<p>Previously as a senior merchandise executive, Mr Dyer held board level positions as merchandise director and change manager in two of the fastest growing and successful specialty retailers, New Price Retail (Priceline, Price Attack and House) in Australia and New Clicks in South Africa.</p>
<p>Mr Dyer’s expertise in internal and external relationship management will play an integral role in Teradata’s continuous growth in the retail industry.</p>
