BenQ Australia has released its latest range of LCD and CRT monitors onto the market. According to BenQ officials, the new range of monitors is directed at meeting the needs of every type of user.
BenQ Australia's (formerly Acer Communications and Multimedia) LCD offerings range from the entry-level LCD 15-inch FP553 ($849) to the LCD 18-inch model FP882 ($2590). The LCD 20-inch FP2081 with s-video input will be available later this month.
In the CRT range, there is the practical 15-inch V551 ($273), the 17-inch V772 ($599) and later this month a 19-inch version.
For professional users requiring superior image quality in the mid-price range, there is the "G" series 17-inch G774 flat screen for $548. The "P" series CRTs, for those requiring a brilliant high-performance display, are now available in 19-inch ($849) and 21-inch screens.

According to Claire Taverner, monitor analyst at Inform: "The growing world demand for LCD monitors means that suppliers such as BenQ would expect definite market growth."
