Epson Australia will move into larger premises at Macquarie Park to house its ever-growing Sydney operations. The new premises has double the warehouse capacity of Epson's current Chatswood premises and will enable Epson to bring its Sydney offices under one roof.
"Epson is currently spread between two premises at Chatswood, so the move means we can consolidate under one roof," said Bruno Turcato, Epson Australia general manager. "The move will give us bigger premises, bigger warehousing and will allow us to offer better customer care with the Customer Service Centre now being on the main site."
Turcato said the move was spurred by an expected upswing in the digital photo market. "As the digital photo market expands rapidly, especially demand for photo printers, photo scanners, colour laser printers and large format printers as well as the growth of home entertainment projectors, we foresee that we will continue to grow."
