CRM software vendor FrontRange Solutions has announced its GoldMine Business Contact Manager, a contact management system that features enhanced data integration with the Microsoft Outlook contact manager. The integration with Outlook enables users of Business Contact Manager, the successor to GoldMine 5.5, to send, accept, decline or reschedule meetings with non-GoldMine attendees via the iCalender (iCal) standard, according to FrontRange. Additional features in GoldMine Business Contact Manager include a new look and feel via an updated user interface with redesigned toolbar icons. Also new is one-button synchronisation to simplify synchronisation for remote users, a redesigned installation wizard, and an undocked sites installer for easing the setup and install process. Users can also set automatic triggers to, for example, prompt a call request to a customer.
