Tower Technology has signed two new Asian resellers as the software developer makes its assault on the Singapore and Hong Kong markets.
This latest conquest is just another notch in the belt for Tower Technology, which was recently awarded the Information and Communications Technology prize at the 2001 NSW Exporter of the Year Awards.
The Sydney imaging software developer has signed on Vanda Systems (Singapore) and Hong Kong-based Computer And Technologies Solutions Limited (C&T Solutions) to sell and implement WebCapture, Tower's e-commerce software that is designed to strengthen online transactions by generating e-receipts on the completion of all transactions.
The product will initially be sold as a standalone in the Singapore and Hong Kong marketplace, said Noel Jones, managing director of Tower Technology. But he hopes that further down the track it will be sold as an add-on module to the Tower IDM (information document management) product like it is in the Australian market.
Tower hopes to leverage Vanda and C&T's existing relationships in Asia, particularly their government sector customers, which include the Hong Kong SAR Government, DBS, Citibank and the Ministry of Education of Singapore.
