Anyware hires new WA state manager

Distributor is looking to hire more staff

Anyware Computer Accessories has hired Steven Daw as state manager in WA. He replaces Steve Chaplin, who has relocated to Europe after eight years with the distributor.

Managing director, Garrison Huang, said Chaplin had done a good job establishing Anyware in the west.

"As an accessory wholesaler we certainly hold a very nice position in WA," he said.

Daw will intially focus on learning the ropes of the Anyware business and its vast range of products. Huang said he will also be tasked with identifying regional growth opportunities.

Anyware has about 80 staff on its books. Prior to joining Anyware, Daw worked at Electro Acoustic as its national operations manager and has also worked with Immersive Technologies.

The distributor is also looking to hire a business development manager in Sydney to focus on its KVM switches category and a purchasing co-ordinator in Melbourne that can speak Mandarin.

In April, Anyware hired Melita Medina as its national retail manager and Steve Grant as its new national marketing manager.
