New Zealand-based accounting software developer Profax will release its new flagship suite Accredo Saturn at next week'sCeBIT conference in Sydney. Accredo builds on the product's predecessor, Profax Accountancy Software, which has an estimated 3,000 users in Asia-Pacific, according to the company.
The product has incorporated centralised management for branch office connectivity and features an upgraded proprietary database.
Accredo Saturn was developed in conjunction with customer and channel feedback, according to David Fenton-Wells, NSW state manager of Profax distributor 4iT. Profax enables companies to suggest a "wish-list" of features they would like in the next edition of the software, which resulted in the development of the new platform.
Targeted at the mid-enterprise market, Accredo is designed to operate with all current Microsoft operating systems and has a user-friendly interface, company officials said.
