Distributor Express Data made a couple of key executive appointment announcements this week, including upgrading Peter Masters' responsibilities and title to general manager of marketing and operations.
One of Masters' first moves was to appoint Peter Stein to the role of e-business manager as the distributor rises to the challenges of the current market.
Masters has been with the company in the capacity of national marketing manager since it began five years ago. His key responsibilities have centred around creating the Express Data brand as well as business development, product management and marketing.
Express Data's managing director, Ross Cochrane, said in a press statement the appointment was all about maintaining "high levels of customer service and customer satisfaction".
Masters indicated that his appointment heralds a new era in the development of Express Data. "As our market is rapidly changing, it is becoming more important for our business to focus around leading-edge technologies and leading-edge delivery systems for both our fulfilment and our marketing," he said.
"Our direction encompasses every method of engagement with our customers at every point of contact within their business and ours. E-marketing and aligning e-business is core to our strategy.
"Peter Stein will play a key role in the development of our IT strategy and direction over all electronic media."
