Smartbuy heeds call

e-commerce developer Smartbuy has signed a 12-month agreement with service provider Call Centre Services to provide customer service to Smartbuy customers.

Smartbuy's most prominent customer, Tandy Australia, will be the first Smartbuy client to be offered the customer services which will eventually be offered to all Smartbuy customers.

Smartbuy has signed a series of partnerships recently including an agreement with Web development company UniqueWorld for Web site development, and Post Logistics (a division of Australia Post) for warehousing and fulfilment.

Smartbuy managing director Tony Gattari said his company is essentially the "glue" in bringing all the strategic partners to the table, while being accountable for the overall integrated e-commerce solution that customers like Tandy require.
