The launch of the .Net Framework and tools has spurred Australia's largest Web hoster to offer a free trial for developers to host the applications they build using Visual Studio .Net.
WebCentral is hoping to build on the momentum of Web services, software components that can be built and consumed by organisations on the Internet. Any developer using Visual Studio .Net that wants to expose its Web services to others on the Internet can, for a short time, do it scot-free with WebCentral.
For three months the hosting company is offering to host developers' Web services for free, which includes 10MB of space and support for Microsoft Access and SQL databases.
The free trial is available via a link from within the Visual Studio .Net product.
