One veri crazy Veritas salty

Veritas was pitching in for kids last week, auctioning off several items for the Save the Children Fund. Over 300 vendor and channel partner attendees took to Home Night Club while the "BT Global Challenge" yacht race was in full swing, and managed to raise $35,000.

Will Carnegie, skipper of the Veritas entry in the BT Global Challenge, can be seen here welcoming local Veritas major account manager Ian Teague aboard the yacht before it departed on its next leg from Sydney to Capetown. A long, wet, seasick journey to Capetown? Things must have been pretty hectic in the office . . .

The Veritas boat didn't make it too far down the coast, with two crew members requiring medical treatment after the boat was hit by a freak wave near Eden. Veritas tells us Teague is doing fine and the team managed to dry out in Capetown.
