Digital services provider, Hyro, has launched a suite of identity management solutions.
Hyro Identity Service Bus solutions can be applied through a standalone implementation or with commercial technologies from a number of major vendors including IBM, Sun, Novell, HP and CA.
Hyro director of identity and security, Stan Levine, said the product suite would help users accelerate identity management solutions while simplifying their use.
"These solutions allow users to publish identity management using standards, which makes it possible for people to adopt the technology and trust it," Levine said.
With growing emphasis placed on regulatory compliance, identity management is becoming more important to e-commerce environments.
Levine claimed the lack of standards was a significant issue in identity management adoption.
"Without standardisation, the customer has no guarantee that a product will work with another vendor's products," he said.
Levine said the company's go-to-market strategy for the solutions involved working closely with specialist partners who were able to use the Hyro tools as the 'glue' for complete identity management solutions.
"Hyro is a growing company, so we're still increasing our work with partners across the business. These identity management tools are a new product, but we've already had a fantastic response to the solutions, and both vendors and customers are finding it useful," he said.
