Dimension Data Learning Solutions (DDLS) has appointed David Gage as general manager following the death of long-serving chief, Steve "chipper" Ross, earlier this year.
Prior to his new role, Gage was general manager for licensing at Dimension Data. He said his first point of focus was to get up to speed with the DDLS business and spend time with the team, its clients and partners.
DDLS training is based around three key areas: Technology, processes and people. Gage said significant growth in the processes and people courses was a sign of the model's success.
"The company is in extremely strong shape, and as such we don't see any reason to significantly change our processes. There will be some fine tuning, but for now we'll continue to use the current model," he said.
Prior to joining Dimension Data, Gage founded online-based distributor and Express Data subsidiary, Express Online.
The licensing role at Dimension Data has temporarily being taken over by Brian Walshe. Corporate communications manager, Martin Aungle, said it hoped to name a permanent replacement shortly.
