George Skaf has left his general manager of marketing and sales post at distributor, TodayTech, citing differences in opinion. He had been in the position for just over a year.
Skaf told ARN he was asked to terminate his stay at the distributor.
"It was basically a mutual thing," he said. "Jack [Zhong, TodayTech CEO] has his own sales strategies and I don't agree with them. At the end of the day we don't see eye to eye, so we parted ways."
Zhong said they had differences in opinion on business models and the way to run the distribution company. TodayTech is not looking for a replacement at this point in time.
Skaf said he was talking to a few agencies to see what types of job opportunities were available in the industry.
"The IT industry has served me extremely well and my strengths are within the IT industry, but as far as distribution is concerned, I need to really consider whether or not I want to remain in distribution," he said.
Prior to joining TodayTech, Skaf was the managing director of a distribution company, eSys Integrated.
