NEC has launched a customer relationship management bundle called NEC Customer Connections. The offering bundles Express5800 Server with FrontRange's GoldMine Business Contact Manager, CyTrack's CyPhone computer telephony integration software and installation, training and services. The pack aims to provides businesses with less than 50 employees with the CRM functionality of a large-scale enterprise. The technology links the communications platform to the customer contact management network, so a customer call can be identified upon connection. This brings up the GoldMine Business Contact Manager record. NEC hopes it will give its channel partners a point of differentiation by providing converged voice and data services in an easily understood solution.
The system can be purchased from $450 per month or outright from $14,500 for the basic configuration. Additional user licences are also available.
