Growing home and small business technical support provider, Gizmo, has appointed Justin O'Sullivan as chief operating officer to focus on maintaining customer services quality.
O'Sullivan said his role was in response to the organisation's rapid growth and was part of a realignment of roles and responsibilities. Gizmo now has 90 staff.
"I've known [Gizmo CEO]) Brett Chenoweth for a while, and he invited me to come on-board to help deliver a high quality customer experience," he said.
O'Sullivan's first point of focus will be to understand the needs of Gizmo customers, and recruit people to maintain and improve the customer experience.
"Typically, it hasn't been done well in Australia, so we see a lot of opportunity in this area for us," he said.
Prior to joining Gizmo, O'Sullivan was with Dell where he developed and implemented the vendor's customer experience strategy across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region as services delivery director.
Sydney-based Gizmo launched in 2006 and provides services around network installation, system upgrades and diagnosis, security and backup. It also operates in Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra.
