Online-based distributor, Express Online, has given its website a facelift and enhanced its information and ordering functionality.
Sales and marketing manager, Siobhan Delaney-Miller, said the changes should improve navigation and access to information, and were aimed at making it easier for resellers to conduct business online.
"The changes will be fairly subtle from a user's point of view - it's more about how we have improved the back-end to deliver more information," she said. "The changes also make product searching easier for resellers, and see us providing more information about those products.
"Our website is our main interface with our customers so it is critical to our business."
Other modifications included extending its navigation toolbar across all Web pages, allowing resellers to source credit applications, payment options and online resources from wherever they were on the site, Delaney-Miller said. Resellers buying through the Express Online site could also access invoices online, and monitor the progress of product orders from the time of purchase through to logistics and shipping.
The new-look is the first stage in a broader plan to improve the functionality of the site, Delaney-Miller said.
"Depending on feedback, we will look to introduce more services - whatever we do has to offer better functionality to our customers," she said.
