This security solution provides users with a firewall, network access control tools, program control, antivirus, anti-spyware, data security and remote access. Using a single software agent, management console and installation, the Check Point Endpoint Security solution can be deployed and managed by one administrator. Its antimalware functionality is based on ZoneAlarm, while its data security capabilities are based on Pointsec technology. Check Point Endpoint Security's Program Advisor service means administrators can control which programs are allowed to run on corporate PCs by leveraging a database of known good and bad programs to automate policy decisions and terminate malicious programs. The software allows secure remote access by encrypting and authenticating data transmitted during remote access sessions between the endpoint and corporate network.

WatchGuard Fireware 10
This unified threat management operating system is designed for WatchGuard's Firebox X Peak, Core and Edge appliance families. Fireware 10 aims to improve security while offering a high level of administrator management and ease of control, the vendor said. Fireware 10 integrates SSL VPN functionality and supports mobile VPN for Windows Mobile devices, and SIP and H.323 connections for workers who use voice over IP or video conferencing. WatchGuard System Manager's logging and reporting engine also scales for enterprise environments. This is complemented by log analysis tools, integration of WatchGuard LiveSecurity alerts into the appliance UI, and support for SNMP v3, all of which provide network security visibility, management and control.
