IDT appoints engineer to focus on growth vendor

Clinton Walker to create market awareness and provide support

Audiovisual distributor, Image Design Technology (IDT), has appointed Clinton Walker as a network support engineer to focus on HaiVision.

The vendor, which signed with IDT in September, creates products to take broadcast-quality audio and visual media and transfer it over networks.

IDT marketing manager, Warwick Maver, said HaiVision had generated interest in the education, medical, and defence sectors.

IDT currently carries 18 brands but Maver said it was looking for new vendors in the IT sector that match with HaiVision.

Walker comes to the newly created role as a Cisco certified network associate and D-Link certified engineer. His initial focus is to generate market awareness for the HaiVision brand while educating and supporting resellers.

IDT currently has 16 staff with offices in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
